Hey I have a slight overbite. I just got my 4 premolars extracted. I am totally confused regarding what will happen to my jaws.Will there be enough room for my tongue? I happened to hear about situations where the fact that there might not be enough space for tongue had ked to breathing problems. I am in a state of extreme dilemma rn . Will everything be fine ? Somebody pls reply.😢

I have had the forsus for 2 years and 8 months, because I had an extreme class 2 since my back teeth were no longer seen from the back they were then they put me a 38mm forcus and they could not put it on the wire before the canine which is how it goes they had to put it after the 2 premolar since the spring did not reach that they put me an expander up and down and a face mask ( the 3 one of the video) so that I pulled the teeth below, the face mask I have used it 6 months, the expander is I have been using them 1 year and 3 months and the braces 3 years

I have them they literally don’t hurt your teeth just become a bit sore

Mine doesn’t really hurt, I got mine yesterday to relive pain don’t sleep on your stomach😭

I'm 41 and four years ago a baby tooth fell out that nobody ever knew was there.. the dentist found the adult tooth that was supposed to come through with an Xray.. Yay... it was in the middle of the roof of my mouth! 🤦 I've been having it pulled out for the past 3 years with a system of braces, bars, elastic bands, metal supports.. all kinds of stuff. But, its finally in the hole that was made for it (its 2 along from my front teeth).. but now I'm having my bite corrected with these rubber bands. I really can't cope with it another year.. its been forever already and its now even more miserable because I keep swallowing the rubber bands when I eat!The dentist gave me a bag of 100 or so to put in daily... and they're a pain in the butt to replace because they're so tiny and fiddly.

I been wearing my rubber bands like this for 5 months, very inconsistent with them though. My ortho said if I manage wearing them bettter the faster I’ll get my braces off

They should try this on wisdom teeth.

I have high cannie teeth both side and have a very thin gap have uneven teeth but i love them i have gotten so many compliments for smile they say "your teeths are not perfect but it looks cute on u" and i also love to smile with them but i have to get braces bc my uneven is destroyed my face symmetry when u was 11 -12 i had very perfect oval face shape but now in back cam it looks weird, i have gain fat in the lest side of my cheek it my face look really weird in back cam so i have to get Barces ( even tho i Dont want it) i m gonna miss my old smile

Even after getting braces My face still looks like the first pic.cuz dentist didn't take out teeth and just fixed my teeth order . When i talked about it to the dentist he was like if i took ur teeth out it won't look Now I'm feeling more insecure. My teeth was the only problem before now it's my face shape 😔

Dude Im getting braces in a few days, Im so scared, I heard that some orthodontist will extract 2 teeths if you have an overbite. I dont want a tooth extraction because it's so much work and I thought I can still keep all my teeth. I still don't know if I'll get an extraction or just this method. btw Im allergic to my dentist's anesthesia and I couldn't get my tooth with a cavity removed, so then they decided to fill it.

Guys i have the exact problem, and today I put braces on my upper teeth. Dr. said that first we'll make a gap and we'll wait until canine get down automatically and if it doesn't come down then we'll insert a new tooth(which freaking me out) we not pull the upper canine..

idk why i was assigned to them i have my teeth properly closedd but i guess im not an orthodontist
